The Tourism Council, with the assistance of the county's Office of Tourism, publishes the county's official visitor's guide: “Visit Carroll County.” The Council had 140,000 copies of this publication printed for distribution throughout the state via the Maryland Welcome Centers and our local Visitor's Center in Westminster. This guide provides information on the accommodations, restaurants and attractions in the county.
